Common questions, we are always bombarded with emails, texts and messages once puppies are available with mostly the SAME questions from all, so, I have decided to write out the most commonly asked questions here, so please read through BEFORE contacting us. If there is a question you have, that is not listed here then feel free to reach out and ask:
**Where are we located?
New Stanton, PA
**
All puppies are placed as LIMITED registration, no breeding rights.
We occasionally will look for Co-Own show homes.
**What is the price for a puppy?
Boxers - $2500
Brussels Griffon - $3500
**Do you require a Hold Fee?:
Yes. Hold Fee is required at time of signing Pet Agreement/Health Agreement.
Boxers - Hold Fee $200
Brussels Griffon - Hold Fee $500
Hold Fees are non-refundable and yes, they do come off total price of puppy.
Balance due in full at time of pickup, or if using transport, then must be paid in full before departure with Flight nanny/transporter.
**How do we pay?
We accept Zelle, sent to vongnb@comcast.net or using our phone# (provided at request) Zelle is a safe bank transfer service with no fees and able to be tracked.
We will accept personal checks however must be received and fully cleared at least one week (7 business days) before puppy pickup.
**Can we visit your home?
No. We do not allow visits at all, by anyone.
Our home is just that, our home, it is our dogs' home as well, and our safe space. We are not a business nor a pet store. The safety of our dogs and ourselves as well as our privacy we take very seriously.
We have nothing "to hide" as some like to insist about breeders who do not allow visits. In today's world we will not risk our family's safety and welfare.
We invite those interested in meeting our dogs to visit with us at any event we are attending with our dogs, just ask, we can let you know our upcoming events to find us at.
We also welcome facetime video calls.
**Can I be placed on a waiting list?
No, we do not keep waiting lists.
We find families truly interested in one of our puppies follows our website for updates on breeding/litter announcements.
**Once I fill out an application what is next?
We carefully review submitted applications for the most appropriate fit for our puppies. Submitting an application does not guarantee anyone a puppy. Once we review applicants, we will reach out to you for more information or clarification (if needed) and/or to let you know we will or will not be moving forward with your application. Remember there are only a small number of puppies available in each litter, and we reserve rights to first choice always. We also place preference on show/sport/competition homes so never take it personally if we cannot move forward with your application at this time, you may always inquire about a future litter.
**Health agreement:
30 days from pickup.
You may see other breeders brag of their 1-2 or even 5-year guarantee so why do we not offer that?
Well simply put, Not all health guarantees are equal.
Most guarantees essentially are made to make the families feel all warm and fuzzy but in the end will do nothing for you.
Most breeders(Not all) that I am aware of offer only a REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE. They will not usually use this term, and will talk about many other details in their health guarantee other than the guarantee itself, (like the length of the agreement...lifetime guarantee!) but when all the dust settles the actual health guarantee is a REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE.
What this means to you is that 6 months or even 1 year down the road when your puppy has a congenital or genetic problem appear, they will offer you a REPLACEMENT, IE: bring in your old puppy and we will give you a new one.
This is of course something that virtually no one will do. By this point your puppy is a family member an you would never give him or her up.
As a result, your guarantee, no matter how long it is for, is worthless.
**Do you health test?:
Yes. Each dog has their own page, find them in the menu top right. On each page is a link to each dogs OFA health test results page. Also on OFA you may search GNBOXERS to bring up many of our dogs health testing results past and present as well as offspring. Can't find something? Just ask!
**Do You show?:
Yes. Our dogs are involved in multiple venues, conformation, weight pulling, NADD dock Diving, Fast Cat, scent work obedience and more. We truly love getting our dogs out in multiple activities and seeing what each dog excels at.
**Do you ship your puppies?:
No. We prefer families pickup in person at a pre-arranged meeting spot. We also will meet families at our local airport(Pittsburgh or Latrobe).
If you need your puppy transported to you, either ground or flight nanny, we can provide you a few names of companies supplying those services, however, we will not arrange the transport for you, families are responsible for transportation arrangements and fees associated with transport.
We WILL meet within a certain distance, if you would like us personally to deliver your puppy we can discuss it, we do charge delivery fees based on distance.
**Do you require spay/neuter?
While we prefer puppy families have their pets spayed/neutered we only require they wait until appropriate age to do so. Minimum of one year of age before spay/neuter, this allows the proper growth of the puppy.
**Puppy Photos...
We take weekly photos/videos and upload to a shared google photo album that families who have reserved a puppy will have the link to join. This allows families to follow along with the litter as they grow and is much easier than trying to send photos/videos to multiple families separately.
